Our December meeting was on Saturday, the 10th, @ Hunter Library 4800 W 4100 S @ 2pm.
Dr Alan R. Meyer, Ph.D, from Ogden, was our first speaker for Dec. His talk entitled "THE DELIGHTS AND DANGERS OF THE ASTRAL CARNIVAL'. He talked about the 'astral trickster' behind much of the
paranormal, based on his own research and that of Dr David Hawkins. Alan has been a researcher in many
areas of the paranormal, including ghost hunting, for many years. He has been affiliated with several
ghost hunting groups, and may add to Brian's presentation. His web site is alanmeyer.com
Our second speaker was Brian Whitesides.
Brian Whitesides is a member of Utah Ghost Hunter's Society and Utah UFO Hunters. He was born and raised in the Ogden/Layton area of Utah, and has lived in the Salt Lake area for that last 11 years. He is and have been involved with investigating paranormal reports for the last 3 years with the two groups. He has
studied and followed reports of UFOs, Bigfoot and ghosts since the age of 6,and is now 40 years old.
His specialty areas are Bigfoot and ghost hunting, but he is becoming increasingly involved in UFO research
and enjoy researching all paranormal cases. A skeptic by nature, but an open-minded one. He believes that
the possibilities are there for anything to exist that we don't totally understand. He doesn't call himself a true believer unless he has experienced the phenomena himself first hand. He is a true believer in life after death and spirit entities that remain here for one reason or another, because he has experienced spirits first hand. He has seen aircraft that he could not explain at the time, but believe both cases could be explained by man-made aircraft, so he is still searching for the "truth" concerning the UFO phenomenon. He believes UFO's are a very real possibility and believe that the tens of thousands of witnesses have experienced something that is out of the ordinary. The same is true with Bigfoot. He has not witnessed a Sasquatch/Bigfoot, but has experienced the smell and sounds that the supposed creature makes, first hand. Something is out there that we cannot as of yet explain but he has an open-mind and am ready and willing to witness and participate in the research of these paranormal phenomenon.
He discussed the art of ghost hunting, as we are a diverse paranormal research group and study all
formsof the paranormal. He will be working on a presentation that will include both photo evidence and EVP evidence to support the life after death and spirit theories. He will give examples of recent and other past ghost hunting investigations that he has been on with Chris and Nancy Peterson, as well as other local groups. He also showed a few pieces of his equipment that are used in a ghost investigation and explain what each piece of equipment does for a ghost investigator.
He had Chris Peterson come and bring some of their most intriguing EVP evidence and explained their views on the spirit realm and the different hauntings and entities that are experienced on a ghost investigation

Lyn Behm and Jackie Sharp
Hi Fans,
The husband and wife team of Lyn Behm and Jackie Sharp was our speakers for Jan 15th, 2005,
at Hunter Library 4100 S 4800 W at 2pm.
Lyn gave an excellent talk about dowsing, the tools, techniques, and benefits. They've been involved with dowsing for so many years. They encouraged the local dowswers to start a Utah chapter of the American Society of Dowsers.
lJackie and Lyn have had been owners of and teachers atInner Technologies School of Hypnotherapy, but more than anything have had a drive to study a wide variety of healing modalities. Their interests have been similar to Dr Meyers, who has also talked about his dowsing experiences and the classes with Eric Scott Pearl. I think it was Jackie that first introduced us to Dr David Hawkins book 'Power vs, Force'.
Dr Hawkins uses kineseology (muscle testing) to getyes/no answers ie: is this vitamin good for my body or does my body need this vitamin, or to determine the level of consciousness of people, groups, countries... anything, according to the graph in his book.
Feel free to bring your pendulums, dowsing rods, etc.

TOPIC:Sgt. Clifford Stone(Ret.) A presentation about the life and times of Sgt. Clifford Stone, who, for more than 22 years served with a special unit of the US Army which recovered downed extraterrestrial craft and their occupants., his involvement with rescue operations for downed UFO's and the et's he came in contact with. Very interesting presentation.
lBIO: -Mark Woody & Troy Jackson:
Mark is a Respiratory Therapist and EMT-I in Gunnison Utah, while Troy works for the Drug Probation Court, and as a Case Manager for troubled teenagers, in Utah and Salt Lake Counties.
Mark was raised at Dugway Proving Grounds. Troy was raised in Clover or Rush Valley, Utah. They would meet when Mark’s father moved his family from Dugway to Clover. They became fast friends, and today 34 years later are best friends. They spent hours camping out, hunting, fishing, and gazing at the stars. As most teenage boys did, they talked about women, fast cars, and told lies about the biggest trout, and the Boone & Crockett buck they had just seen. Yet, unlike the average teenagers they spoke mostly of military aircraft, large hominids, and most of all aerial phenomena. An interest that is very strong, making them wonder why they are so interested in ufology. Jim Woody, Mark’s father also shares this interest. Jim Woody is a UFO researcher, and member of MUFON. He made it to Mildred’s as often as he could. Jim worked for many years at Dugway Proving Grounds, before transferring to South Area. Troy had his first “conscience” sighting in 1975, while Mark although a researcher did not have a sighting until 1998. He witnessed several huge self luminous orbs moving at exceedingly high speeds followed by a flight of 5 Grumman Stealth B-2 bombers. The bombers were moving low and slow, with no lights on. Fittingly Troy was also a witness to this sighting. Troy and Mark do not believe in coincidences, and connect the UFOs with the aircraft although they are not sure how. Together they would share several more sightings. While in his early 20’s Troy worked at Dugway Proving Grounds, as his step-father did, before him. Troy worked for Lockheed Sciences and Engineering. He worked as a range weaponry tester, often working at night in the middle of Dugway Proving Grounds. Mark stuck to more terrestrial wonders, working as a life guard at the base GYM, and swimming pool, and swimming for the base swim team. Through the years Troy and Mark have studied countless sightings, interviewed witnesses, and tried to get “out in the field” as much as possible. Having traveled to Roswell, Area 51, Dugway, The Ranch, and numerous other “hotspots” they like to get out and research the areas where the phenomenon is occurring. Mark & Troy have played tag late at night with security forces of Tooele Army Depot South Area also known as the Deseret Chemical Depot, found large hominid footprints with Dave Rosenfeld, Troy has even been terrorized, by some creature in an area not for from Clover, known only as Hell’s Hole. While on a visit to Roswell, they met their most credible, and intriguing witness; Sgt. Clifford Stone US Army (Ret.)

The meeting for March was on the 26th at 2pm at the Hunter Library 4100 S and 4800 W. I had a video of the late John Mack's following two of his clients, a married man and a single lady and how their 'et' experiences impacted their lives..their struggle to adjust to being part of an 'et' world, and how this evolved from inner conflict to a place where they could see that what started out being fearful was now seen as a working relationship with the 'et's', and an educational experience.

Rich Oliver is a passionate advocate of self empowerment and emerging creativity. Rich has worked in mental health for many years also, working directly with extremely acute clients at a major psychiatric hospital. Rich has a degree in psychology, and studied Korean language, poetry and history in translation. He lived and worked in South Korea for many years and is familiar with various forms of Shamanism, Zen Buddhism, Confucianism and existential animism. He is an ordained minister and holds an honorary degree in theology.
Rich specializes in: space clearing, organization, motivation, shamanic healing, goal setting, emerging creativity, volitional existence, visualization, magnetic attraction theory, sigil work and soulful living. He is also involved in public speaking and is a facilitator for self empowerment seminars.
He recently began channeling Saul, a high level master and teacher.

We had a good time last year and acquired some useful items (books, metal rose, floor mat, some expensive items, etc.) for a nominal fee.
